MY STORY
With 12 years experience as a Primary School Teacher, in both London and the North East of England, I am able to offer high quality tuition in KS1/KS2 English and Maths. I equally teach French to an Advanced Level, helping adults brush up on their skills. My mother is French and I was brought up in Luxembourg. As a result I was immersed in a French speaking environment from an early age.
I studied Advanced Mathematics, Advanced Philosophy and Advanced French as part of my European Baccalaureate and successfully graduated from Durham University with a 2-1. I subsequently moved to London, where I became Head of English and Director of Studies in a mixed ability Independent School . Since moving to Devon 8 years ago,
I have worked at West Charleton Academy, Thurlestone All Saints CoE Academy and Salcombe Primary School. I also spend time outdoors and in the sea, whenever I can!

TEST PREP
SATS, 11+, Common Entrance, GCSE French
I have successfully prepared pupils for their Common Entrance and 11+ Examinations, helping them get into some of the best North London Senior Schools: Haberdasher's Aske's Boys School, Habersdasher's Aske's Girls School, North London Collegiate, Mill Hill and Channing.
I am equally very well acquainted with the SATs, having helped Year 6 pupils achieve 'Greater Depth' in both English and Maths.
GROUP LESSONS
Active Learners
Through a variety of activities and enrichment opportunities, I engage the pupils and always strive to make learning fun and creative. Groups do not exceed 6 pupils.
TEACHING ADULTS
Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
I offer group and one to one French lessons, helping adults move from an A1 beginner level through to a C1 advanced level.

COMMON TUTORING QUERIES
DO YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC TEACHING QUALIFICATION?
I have a Bachelor in Education from Durham University and Qualified Teacher Status. I am DBS checked and am trained in Paediatric First Aid.
HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR TEACHING SERVICES?
30 minute sessions are £12. 60 minute sessions are £20.
Group sessions(minimum of 3) are £8 for 30min
All sessions are currently delivered online, via Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams
WHERE DO YOU HOLD YOUR TEACHING SESSIONS?
I hold most of my sessions in my home, in Thurlestone, but can travel within a 5mile radius.
DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER AREAS OF EXPERTISE?
I equally offer sketching and dance classes.
